  Tap the star to save the maxims that hit hardest.

  Swipe left or right on the home screen, or tap the arrows at the bottom, to flip through every maxim at any time. The screen title shows the maxim number while browsing.

• 10-Point Rating

  Score each maxim from 1.0 to 10.0 in 0.5 steps. Votes are aggregated anonymously via Firebase.

• Popularity Ranking

  All 176 maxims sorted by global average score in real time.

• Categories

  Ten themes classify all 176 maxims: Excommunication, Toxic Workplace Zen, Self-Mockery, IT Apocalypse, People Skills, Master & Disciple, Philosophy & Life, Earthly Desires, Meeting Hell, Showa to Reiwa.

• Search

  Use the menu at the top right of the Home screen, or the magnifier on the Maxims screen, to find maxims by text, category, tag or number. Search runs on your device and works offline.

• User Tags

  Add your own free-form tags to any maxim (stored locally on device).

• Share

  Export the current maxim as a washi-style card image (1080×1440 PNG) for messaging or social posts.

• Daily Reminder

  Schedule a notification at a time of your choice (optional, can be turned off).

• 74 Languages

  Available in 74 languages, including Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic and Hindi, switching automatically with your device language (on Android 13 and later you can also pick a language per app).

• Offline

  All 176 maxims are bundled in the app.
